Whoa.

Did you know that in the Samoan culture, mothers refer to their babies, not by their names, but Pepemeamea (baby thing thing) until they have the capacity to respond to their given name?  Fun fact. Thank you, Children's Lives in Cultural Contexts.

have you gotten your
flu shot?

I just listened to the radio show! I was thinking in the plane while listening to the ipod thing that you should have a signature song you play every week to introduce your segment, like "i love the unicorn" or "silver pink ponies" I heard a neat song in nordstroms, a girl singing, "i'm just a girl, stuck in the moment, i'm just a girl, something..something" Sounded like the girl who sang "I kissed a Girl". Anyway, just a thought...

I'll mail your little happy today. Love you so much! ~mopz

From my mom:
Hi Banana,
You guys were great!  I especially loved the Violent Femmes, of course.  Tell Claire that I heard the song that she and her friend made, and it was way cool!

aint she sweet?
